In a number of countries where Denmark does not have an embassy, and harmony has been made with a different Schengen country to hold visa applications in support of Denmark. Most of the times these agreements only cover short stay visas.
Exceptions are made for the Norwegian and Swedish embassies, where applications for residence or work visas may be processed as well. Though, the Swedish Embassy in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo and the Norwegian Embassy in Colombo Sri Lanka, only practice visa applications.
