Denmark and Russia signed a bilateral agreement on the smooth progress of the issuance of visas, and the following approval process is now completed.Consistent with the agreement citizens with ambassadorial passports are now exempt from the visa requirement.
- The requirements to documentation of the idea of a visit will be simplified, and it will now be likely to issue continuing multiple-entry visas.
- The fee for dealing out visa applications shall amount to 35 euro, and for a number of categories of persons the fee for processing the visa application is finished.
- The length of procedures for dealing out visa applications will be utmost 30 days.
- Besides the above mentioned agreement Denmark and Russia also signed on 27 May 2008 an agreement on the re-admission of persons residing with no authorization.
